Why Private Training?

Private training is a significant opportunity for every player to improve his or her skills while having fun playing the world’s most popular game!

It takes 10,000 hours of deliberate practice to become a top class athlete in any sports discipline. The average for any player under the age of 10 is a mere 24 Hours per year!

The more a player plays the better he/she will be!

Private soccer training is the best way to accelerate becoming a great player, whether it supplements a player’s team training, or can prepare a player for club, high school or beyond!

Often, team training is generalized. Private training is extremely specific for each and every player!

Every session is structured according to a player’s strengths, weakness, and developmental needs!

Private Training teaches, promotes and develops life qualities such as leadership, discipline, accountability and sportsmanship.

Individual and small group training allows for focus on specific areas in detail. It also allows for focus on the player as a person and what he/she needs to become successful in life in soccer and beyond!

“It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.”- John Wooden

Recommended Training: Game Ratio

Soccer Home is a great way to achieve the proper training: game ratio recommended by the USSF.

English Premier League Academy teams play a 27-30 game league schedule that begins in mid August and finishes in mid April. That’s 27-30 games over the course of 9 months or 36 weeks, or less than one game per week with 3 months of no matches.

The United States Soccer Federation (USSF) recommends that players play up to 30 matches for their clubs per calendar year. There should be a ratio of 2 or 3 practices per one match. Most clubs in the U.S. only practice 1-2 days/week. Contact us today to get started!!
